oh man...

wow, just saw how long since i've posted an update. can't write much now but it's one of my resolutions to get this back up to date!! (and before baby boy appears on the scene!) ;)

Saruul and Ganaa's daughter, Enkh-Khailuun, was born about 2 weeks ago. What a cutie! I'll try and post a picture of her soon.

We're all doing well, though there are never enough hours in the day, it seems, to do all we need to do...

But God is good and life is beautiful.

well, i thought i'd better give an update... after about 4 or 5 days of fever and a couple days of a rash all over her face, arms and torso (poor baby!), yvelle is back to her perky self! :) and we're all happy with her.

today a big box arrived... i think it's the christmas present from my mom that we'll let her open for her birthday and play with a bit, till we pack it up and save it for christmas. (it's a Fisher Price nativity set--yay!)

looking forward to the big birthday in a couple weeks--the 19th. Hard to believe she'll be one! (Hard to believe that Enkhbeleg would be 2 and a half, too!)

It's HOT here in Virginia Beach but I'm oh so glad for the sunshine.

4 days and counting

yvelle started having a fever on sunday. :/ poor kid. she's doing fine, but we're still needing to give her Tylenol to keep the fever down. the doctor said it's just a virus and, in time, she'll be all better.

just thought i'd let ya know...

Sunday Morning

This morning Yvelle's little cold seemed a bit worse, and we decided it wasn't a good morning to take her out into the cold and into the crowds. (By the way, it's our friend Tim holding Yvelle--Javkhaa's the other guy in the pic.) ;)

I guess there are different ways of responding to difficult things in life--and it's not that we can't pray and ask God to change things!--but it's also about TRUSTING Him in the times and situations that are painful, overwhelming, confusing... and having faith there is an overarching plan that is good, and that God is present with us and can sustain us through the trials.
